Best Buy rolls out wider Same Day Delivery options via Deliv

The same day delivery market for retailers continues to heat up and become more crowded with new that the giant electronics specialist Best Buy has expanded same day shipping options to now cover 13 key U.S. metropolitan markets. As we've seen with many recent same day delivery partnerships, Best Buy selected Deliv to provide their local delivery options.

Consumer demand for same day delivery to their home or workplace from retailers continues to accelerate and the announcement from Best Buy follows recent pilot programs that the company experimented with in both San Francisco and New York. With those trials seemingly proving to be a success, Best Buy then rolled out their same day option in eleven other markets, each of them represented by Deliv.

The growth of Deliv continues unabated as the four-year-old company adds Best Buy to a roster of retailers which already includes numerous upmarket shopping malls along with Kohl's, Bloomingdales and Macy's. The Best Buy program is for qualified online purchases only at present, offering same day trucking to specific zip codes that are typically within 10 miles of the stores. According to press releases the same day delivery costs will range from $12 to $20.
